Edgar Baillie died on 15th August, 1917, while a prisoner of war but as yet there is no information as to when and where he was wounded or captured. The 10th King's Royal Rifle Corps battalion was part of 59 Brigade, 20th Division that had been on the Western Front since July 1915 and that had seen action during the opening stages of Third Ypres in August, 1917. |
